Nepali Players Won 15 Medals Including 1 Gold Medal – SikkimTournament


Kathmandu, Nepali pickleball players have returned playing maiden Sikkim national tournament with 15 medals including 1 Gold medal.

Though it was a national tournament in India, Nepali team were present as guest team. From all India, 10 states had taken part.

Representing Nepal , PAN Pickleball coach Mr. Kumar Pradhan defeated man in jersey from Gujrat, Dr.Janak Desai for his winning journey of Gold medal. Likewise, In single and doubles women, players showed magic with their paddles. Nepali players Georgia Chaudhary, won 3 silvers medal and Swastika Maharjan and Prajuna adhikari respectively won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals each. Janak Phadera won 2 silver medals and Saurav Bhandari won 1 bronze and Kiran Khanal won 1 silver which helped Nepal to make sum of 15 medals.

Nepal had played impressive and aggressive game in group stage which lead Nepali teams for the journey of semi final. Following the development and improvement path of neighboring country India , Nepal has also participated in different tournaments to develop and improve skills as an opportunity. PAN president Mr. Saurav Bhandari added, The hunger of players towards Pickleball is main reason of motivation for PAN. Pickleball association Nepal has put hand in hand to promote Pickleball game in Nepal with different clubs and schools. Pickleball has grown different age group fans and lover across world. Among all countries Nepal has also huge potential and temptation among all age group peoples.

Nepali players are attending different tournaments with their own expenses and promoting themselves as growing world champions.
