About Us
Learn about our mission, history, and the people behind Pickleball Association Nepal
Our Story
Pickleball Association Nepal was founded in 2019 by a small group of enthusiasts who fell in love with the sport during their travels abroad. What began as friendly games in Kathmandu's Tundikhel park has grown into Nepal's first and largest organization dedicated to promoting pickleball throughout the country.
In our early days, we had just two portable nets and a handful of paddles. Today, we've helped establish more than 30 permanent courts across Nepal and introduced thousands of Nepalis to this accessible, social, and engaging sport.
Our journey hasn't been without challenges. From navigating the pandemic to working with limited resources in remote areas, we've persevered thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the enthusiasm of the growing Nepali pickleball community.
In 2022, we achieved official recognition from Nepal's National Sports Council, a milestone that has helped us expand our programs and bring pickleball to schools, community centers, and recreational facilities throughout the country.

Our Vision
We envision pickleball as a unifying force in Nepal—a sport that transcends age, gender, and socioeconomic barriers while promoting physical health, community connection, and joy.
Our goal is to make pickleball accessible in every district of Nepal by 2030, creating spaces where people from all walks of life can come together through play.
