It is my pleasure and privilege to have been appointed International Ambassador to Pickleball Nepal. Alongside PAN our aim is to ensure that Nepal is a globally recognised Pickleball Nation. I first visited Kathmandu as a representative of Cambridge Pickleball Club UK in 2022. Working alongside PAN, I returned to Nepal in 2023 with a group of players from Cambridge to organise and play in the first International Friendly Tournament between the UK and Nepal in Kathmandu. Our next project is to host an international tournament in Kathmandu in March 2024. Enthusiasm for our game is gaining momentum worldwide and we are now working to increase local player numbers, improve facilities and to promote Pickleball tourism. Nepal is a wonderful destination for pickleball players and the opportunity to visit should not be missed.
